Geneviève Wetzel

Geneviève has a passion for encouraging kids who, like her, have a loved one living with a critical illness.

Sharing the message of not just surviving but thriving in this situation, Geneviève created a community, Together We Will Be, to shed light on navigating unexpected trials as a family from a child’s point of view. Geneviève wrote Together We Will Be to share her experience with her dad who has been battling cancer since 2018.

Geneviève is in high school and lives in Monroe, Louisiana. She loves playing piano and soccer, and treasures time spent with her friends and family: her dad, Zeke, mom, Courtney, and brother, Vaughn. Geneviève is a proud participant and supporter of the Miss Louisiana’s Teen Scholarship Program.
