Geneviève Wetzel

Geneviève Wetzel is a student at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is studying Communication and Leadership in the Moody College of Communication, minoring in Psychology, and pursuing a pre-law path. Driven by a longstanding passion for leadership, advocacy, and service, Geneviève hopes to use communication as a means of creating meaningful change in the lives of others.

At UT Austin, Geneviève is a member of Alpha Phi Sorority and the Texas Pre-Law Honor Society, where she continues to grow as both a leader and advocate while preparing for a future in law.

Before beginning her studies at Texas, Geneviève graduated as valedictorian of Neville High School’s Class of 2026. Throughout high school, she held numerous leadership roles, including serving as Louisiana FBLA State Secretary and Neville High School FBLA President, while remaining deeply involved in community service and advocacy. She is also a proud longtime participant in and supporter of the Miss Louisiana Organization, whose emphasis on service, leadership, and personal growth closely aligns with the values that have shaped her own journey. She is also the author of two books and the founder of Together We Will Be, an organization born from her belief that even one young person, using her voice with purpose, can make a meaningful difference.

Now beginning this next chapter in Austin, Geneviève remains committed to the same mission that inspired her work from the beginning: encouraging others, advocating for those whose voices deserve to be heard, and turning compassion into action.
